Rebrand for
The Language
& Behavior Center
During our first sit-down, I got to know TLBC a lot better. We walked through the branding questionnaire together in order to really flesh out the “why” behind their new logo.
It was important to design a logo that conveyed trustworthiness and competence in the eyes of parents while offering joy, comfort, and intrigue from the littles that would be in TLBC’s care.
The new TLBC logo embodies the playfulness of learning, a classic developmental toy/tool used by language and behavior pathologists in child development, and a clean (though artistic) composition.
You can see the logo and accompanied branding assets in play at TLBC’s website.
A look at the process
The complete rebranding project took five months to complete and involved a redirection about midway through the project.
Originally, the clients hoped to have a logo incorporating plants (succulents) because of the different analogies they saw between the foliage and their work.
After several mockups, however, I drafted up several concepts that threw out all initial parameters and a fresh, winning concept was born!
Facebook Cover Video
After finalizing the new branding, I also created a Facebook Cover Video for TLBC’s page, making sure to work with stock footage in line with their aesthetic.
