The University of Maryland wanted bright, bold, eye-catching cover art that breathes life into the myriad of statistics within it’s pages. The visuals needed to capture the joy of graduation that the numbers show.
Each year, I highlighted a different aspect of campus life and the feelings surrounding graduation.
Including these hand-drawn vector illustrations as the reader’s introduction to the data allows the reader to engage with the real value of the contents before they dive in.
